This study is based on the interactive skills of the theory of group dynamics, and set a forum discussion in the〝Operation and Learning of Media〞 on net to be a study field. Using interactive skills:interpreting, supporting, emphasizing, facilitating, evaluating, handle silence, linking, limiting, consensus taking, timing, suggestion to the asynchronous on network which discuss subject a week and to be norms of the leaders that how to activation group interaction.
The purpose of this study is to observe leaders how to use interactive skills and choose three leadership styles. The study uses the qualitative method of〝content analysis〞to analyze all data ,different leadership styles how to use interactive skills and members’ interactive situation. We also design some questionary that based on Bales’ IPA for leaders and members, to investigate the influences of group.
The major results are states as follows:
1.Using interactive skills in the group has time phases.
2.The task-oriented styles of leadership should avoid the forum becoming a chat room.
3.The person-oriented styles leadership should pour the warm into the group.
4.The leadership, which involves task-oriented and person-oriented styles, need pay attention to individual members.
5.There are advantages for leaders to handle conflicts with cool down the argued on the asynchronous discussion forum.
6.Members’ active participation in the discussion doesn’t promise the better quality in discussion.
The study use interactive skills of group dynamics into the asynchronous discussion forum on net, attempt to bring about fluid interaction in group with members .We hope the results would be helpful for those who intends to improve interaction on asynchronous discussion forum.
