developed in an intermediate grade classroom?

story-based Chinese literacy program and what strategies
can be applied in dealing with the situations?
c)How may the teacher change in the process of
implementing the story-based Chinese literacy program?
d)what are the effects of the action research project on
students’literacy learning?
The procedures and results of this study were aggregated and presented in the order of preparing period, developing period, and evaluation period. The results of the pilot study indicated that using concept webs to develop a new curriculum and modifying the sequence of units in the textbooks and evaluation methods would allow more room for introducing stories into the literacy classroom. Finally, implications are presented for administrators, teachers and librarians.
