From the Vienna Treaty in 1985 to Global Submit in Leo in 1992, their purposes are to protect the global for its sustainable development and to give all human beings a quality living environment. Therefore, the environment protection is changed from the movement of a few people to worldwide activity and the industry also is changed from conservative to active. The idea of the Green Hotel is developed for a long time. For example, the Green Seal in America publishes the green hotel guide, Israel is proposing criteria for green hotel and, moreover, Canada executed the Green Hotel Evaluation on 140 hotels in 1998. Few researches in Taiwan released that both the managers and residents of the hotels agreed with the green hotel but it is not successful in Taiwan. Based on this reason, this research is to study the green hotel as an impact factor on tourists’ decision on choosing the accommodation and their recognition on the green hotel for the government and hotel industry to extend the Green Hotel. This research found that Taiwanese tourists didn’t consider the green hotel as the main determinant on their hotel choices. However, their environment protection behavior could influence their perception, recognition, spending on the green hotel. Therefore, the government should extend the environment protection, promote people to stay overnight at the green hotel, and then improve their living environment and life quality. 黃宗成 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW |
