In the first stage, pyrimidine derivatives, 2,2''-bipyrimidine (2bpm) and 5,5''-bipyrimidine (5bpm) as well as bifunctional organic spacer, 2,2''-bipyridinyl-4,4''-dicarboxylic acid (H2bpdc), have been synthesized and characterized. In addition to their specific geometries and coordination function, these ligands are of photophysical and photochemical properties. Secondly, the self-assembly of as-synthesized organic and transition metals were carried out under hydrothermal conditions as well as room temperature diffusion. The analyses of the magnetic, porous and luminescent properties these complexes have also been carried out. In this thesis, a total of sixteen coordination solids of versatile network topologies have been described in six parts as categorized by the types of modular organic ligands: in the first part, the hydrothermal synthesis of a 3-D porous network solid from bpdc spacers and cadmium cluster chain unit has been described; the second part: the hydrothermal synthesis of a chiral 3-D Cd(II) coordination polymer on the basis of in situ generated bridging ligands from 2bpm and cadmium ion; the third part: the supramolecular networks from metal nodes and flexible organic spacer, 4,4''-trimethylene-dipyridine; the fourth part: the supramolecular networks via metal centers and 5bpm of flexible dihedral angles; the last two parts: the synthesis and identification of 3-D supramolecular networks on the basis of designated 2-D grid-type secondary building units on the basis of 1,3,5-benzene-tricarboxylic acid, m-benzene-dicarboxylic acid, and 3,5-pyridine-dicarboxylic acid have been described. 呂光烈 洪政雄 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
