The purpose of this study is measuring the modulation transfer function (MTF) of the lens by using the methods of the digital image. Generally, it spends much time to measure the quality of a lens in optical manufacturer, and the instruments are very expensive. In this thesis, we use the electronic methods to generate the testing target that we need. By applying the optical theories and the technologies of digital image processing, we developed this optical measuring system that is fast and low cost, and it is different from other conventional methods.
