Abstract
In recent years, performance of durability for the bridges was seriously considered. Methods to evaluate the durability of the bridges are still yet available. However, a rather mature and well defined method proposed by JSCE and will be used as a protocol for the development of a method to be used in Taiwan.
In this thesis, we propose a method to evaluate concrete bridges. The purposes of this study are as follows:
1.Establish a durability evaluation method of concrete bridges for BMS with Life-Cycle Cost concepts.
2.Decide the key factors of the durability evaluation method of concrete bridges.
This study briefly establishes a durability evaluation method of concrete bridges.The threshold for classing the level of durability of the bridges is artificial. Futher improvement can be made when more information is available.
