Applying the birth rate and death rate of the multipath in the realistic environment, the system-level channel model is improved by extending the time-variant characteristic of the AOA of the multipath. The database of the channel model is established by measuring the impulse response of the different environments. Thus the selection of the link-level channel models is increased. Finally, the performance of the WCDMA system in the modified simulator is also evaluated. The simulator aims at being used as a simulation platform for 3G wireless communication systems.
