Thirty-one male students were randomly assigned into a control (CG) and two experimental groups. Control group, continuous training group (CTG), and interval training group (ITG) were included 14, 9, and 8 subjects, respectively. The incremental training exercise intensity was controlled above 75% to 80% of HRmax by monitoring heart rate. Descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the homogeneity among three groups. Two-way ANOVA mixed design were used to test the interaction among three groups. Scheffe’s post hoc t-comparisons were used to analyze the data if there was a significant difference. The proteinuria used the G2 to test the data at pre and post training. The alpha level was set at .05.The results were as follows: 1.CTG was better than ITG and CG in body fat % indicating continuous training had more advantage in body composition. 2.Training methods had correlation with the proteinuria of training ITG was higher than CTG on proteinuria after training. In conclusion, continuous training is better on the body composition than interval training. Furthermore, interval training is more serious on the proteinuria. ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of different training methods on the body composition and the proteinuria of junior high male students. The alpha level was set at .05.The results were as follows:
1.CTG was better than ITG and CG in body fat % indicating continuous training had more advantage in body composition.
2.Training methods had correlation with the proteinuria of training ITG was higher than CTG on proteinuria after training.
In conclusion, continuous training is better on the body composition than interval training. Furthermore, interval training is more serious on the proteinuria.
