Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系專班 === 91 === The function of this incubator is to hatch all kinds of eggs. The applied theory is temperature control. A thermostat controls the high and low temperature using three push buttons to set the temperatures. Three seven-segment-displays can display the high and low pre-set temperatures and current temperature. The heater will turn on when the temperature reaches below the low-temperature limit and stays on until the temperature goes up to the set temperature. And the heater only turns on when the temperature is below the limit. The ideal temperature and relative humidity of the incubator is around 37℃~38℃, and 60% respectively. It is really a low cost incubator, where it only took 0.34 dollars per egg. 60 eggs exhausted about 8 KWH in 21 days, and cost only 19.2 dollars, where its energy index is 16W, and 2.4 dollars per KWH. Not only it is less expensive than the relative products in the market, but also the success rate is about 89%. Yet, its features are still improving.
