Due to the global economic slow-down and more opportunities to select the information solution providers, suppliers and customers of system integration industry have squeezed the value spaces of the intermediates. Therefore, reconfigure the industrial value chain and recombine the value space for intermediates would be necessary. This research is discussed the industrial structure and situation, and analysis the possibilities of value chain’s reconfiguration and intermediates’ reposition. In essence, the issue is discussed the ways of value creation and value appropriation within industrial value chain. It focuses on discussing the possibilities of vertical disintegration and vertical cooperation of intermediates that participate in the industrial value chain, and then figure out the possible strategic directions of reconfiguring value chain for intermediates’ reposition. Four possible directions are pointed out as group integration, professional service, forward integration, and backward integration. This research is conducted case study to clarify the possibilities and to figure out four strategic suggestions which are enlarging market size, focusing niche market, low cost advantage, and customization fulfillment. Four propositions are also proposed.
