However, as the life span of information products shortens the market environment has become rather competitive. Under the pressure that the international buyers eagerly inquire to lower the production costs, the investors of information industries from Taiwan were the earliest manufacturers to install the plants in China by using their vast labors, cost saving lands and low standards for environmental protection. As mentioned above, information product manufacturers were forced to transfer the manufacturing to China for the cost factors, they are further considering the operation cost and time span separately on the activities of manufacturing, production and assembling as required by releasing inventory pressures and promote production efficiency thus to fit the global operation orientation. Major international information product manufacturers have installed their production bases all over the world with systematic workflow. The long range of supply chains added with uncertain marketing economic factors are all vigorous issues. By the mean time, the electronic component distributors established with long term partnership should further coordinate with the manufacturers by the direct links to the warehouses for real time market requirements. Therefore under the global requirements of supply, the electronic component distributors are also facing the issues to be solved of how to apply the original channels to supply the components in sufficient and rapid manner. Facing the uncertainty at the market place, the operation performance is not obvious in a short term. How does an electronic component distributor make the best option on correct and feasible operation strategy in a competitive environment to achieve the most optimist operation performance will be indicated from the conclusion of this thesis. We discovered that when an electronic component distributor develops in China, the features of its original enterprise resources should influence the operation strategy. On the other hand, the character of the distributed products for the electronic component distributor should influence the core capability for different channels adopted. Industries of OEM components might be advantageous by their professional technologies; the industries of consuming components might be specialized by their logistic support abilities. What should never be omitted is that the limitation from the laws, codes and regulations by the government’s political situation will surely influence the projects of the core channels set by the corporation.
