The study is focused on ERP from implementation. First, the study summaries critical success factors (CSF) of implementing ERP from literatures. Then, the practical experiences of user companies, software providers and consultants were collected. This study tries to categorize different patterns of ERP implementation. This findings reveals:(1) Top management support and Personnel are two most important factors. Then, the next CSF are BPC and software configuration, Client acceptance, and Monitoring. The least factor is Legacy systems. (2) If there are discrepancy existed among ERP functionality, organization needs and ERP positioning, there exist some different patterns in importance and practical execution for certain CSF.
