She expressed her conscience and their homeland with regard to pressing social and political issues. She found the influence of political revolution was more effective than other aspects. The church was engaged in the revolution of politics and participated in the social movement under the Nationalist government of KMT. The scope of this study lies in the participation of social movement of the church. Over the years the Presbyterian Church had been a pain in the neck for the Nationalist rulers. After the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan issued its “ Statement on Our National Fate” at the end of 1971, “ Our Appeal” in 1975, and the Presbyterian Church took the step to “ urge the government to take effective measures whereby Taiwan may become a new and independent country” in her “Declaration of Human Rights” in 1977. The church no longer carelessly take its ease. It attracted the oppression of KMT. This creates a big headache for KMT. The first rotation of ruling party took place in Taiwan in 2000.
