When firms entry a burgeoning market, choosing a suitable entry mode will determine the key to success. The policy decision of the entry mode will influence operation performance. Furthermore, in the age of Knowledge Economy, Knowledge is the most important asset in the organization. And the business are faced with fast technological changes, it is doubtless that technology is the major knowledgeable asset. Thus, how to obtain the technology effectively have become important issues for establishing competitive advantages. The sample of this research aim for Taiwan’s Manufacture SEMs in Mainland China, and probe into the relationship between entry mode, technology transfer and operation performance. Moreover, this paper research the influent factors of technology transfer performance. This research use the SPSS statistic software and make use of regression analysis and One-Way ANOVA analysis to examine hypotheses. About the empirical study, when firms adopt high involved entry mode, their subsidiaries will create good technology transfer and operation performance. Besides, about the influent factors of technology transfer performance, technology characteristics and technology transfer performance have close relationship. As the concluding remarks, we suggested several future research issues and the implications. For both individual firm and the S&T policies. Wen-Ruey Lee 李文瑞 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 81 zh-TW
