Description
Summary:碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 商學與管理研究所碩士班 === 91 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of setting up the video-audio computer system into the vehicles on driving behaviors and mental workload. In addition, other significant influence factors of driving behaviors and workload were also investigated. The demographic characteristics such as installation of car video computer system, sexual, age, revoke driving licence, speed violation, and driving frequency etc. and the driving characteristics such as nervous scale, invasion scale, anxiety, vigilant, speed violation, concentration fault, dislike of driving, driving aggressive, masterdom and control error etc. were considered in this study. We use the MANOVA and MANCOVA and One-Way ANOVA to analyse the safety relation between the mental workload and driving behavior. An experiment was conducted in virtual driving environments. Between-Subject design was employed in this experiment. We concluded that the interaction effect of installation of car video system and revoke driving license will significantly influence the driver’s mental workload and driver’s behavior. Using the driving characteristics as independent variable, we can predict the influence of mental workload and driving behavior by recursive analysis. After discriminated analysis, we learned that the installation of video-audio computer system into the vehicles would raise or reduce driver’s mental workload and influence the driving behavior.
