However there is a continuously increasing need for fossil fuel uses which results in energy resources depletion and environment pollution problems. It has become the key issues for governments to plan and implement energy technology development economically and effectively. Many countries have been struggling to work out for the environmental protection problems. One of the better solutions is to educate people especially for those students in the campus. Because the subject of energy is multifaceted including national defense, politics, technology, economics, society and environment, it has become quite important to enhance people’s energy background to avoid the energy crises. This thesis focuses on the energy resources curriculum planning for the university level and it provides detailed lecture outlines in class. Also it emphasizes e-learning concepts to integrate the energy materials into information technology through the assistance with the well designed web aided instruction system (WAIS) to help students study the energy resources. This provides a guideline for the instructors in the class or anyone who is interested in this field hence accomplishes the energy education aim indeed.
