In addition, the technology complexity also surmount companys own capability on their research and development. Therefore, the existing joint-development or self-development models on technology have facing great challenges under the new demand of cross-field technology alliances. However, the result of cross-field cooperation might be affected due to different nature of industry, knowledge, language, culture and other factors. The way of upgrade Taiwan is to integrate cross-field or cross-industry technology in order to develop high value-added products. However, successful knowledge transfer will affect the result of the strategic alliance. The literature supports that ambiguity is an important factor for knowledge transfer during cross-field strategic alliance. This research studies the influence of ambiguity in knowledge transfer of cross-field technology alliances. The results indicate two types of ambiguity exist. One is “causal ambiguity”, which includes experiences, learning abilities, the degree of partners’ protectiveness and culture. Among them, the degree of ’ protectiveness has the greatest impact. The Other is “knowledge ambiguity”, which includes complexity, uncertainty, specifity, and learning motives. Among those factors, complexity has most direct influence on knowledge ambiguity. The findings hope to provide an useful references for future cross-field alliance. Su-Lee Tsai 蔡淑梨 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW |
