As a result, it is very important to help B&Bs provide online travel information and enhance service quality with information technology in response to the Doubling Tourist Arrivals Plan adopted by the government. The purpose of this study is to clarify current B&B management problems, the planning of e-business, and the establishment of a prototype system for B&Bs to develop e-business. Case studies were also conducted. The study focuses on the Tsou tribe developing ecotourism in the Mount Ali area, and relative researches were conducted for the planning of B&B e-business. In addition to collecting and organizing data concerning general e-business planning, the study compiles and examines secondary data of B&Bs with industrial analysis and SWOT analysis to formulate more objective and systematic plans for promoting B&B e-commerce. Furthermore, the researchers visited B&Bs in the Mount Ali area to understand their current situations, local ecological environment, and difficulties encountered by B&B operators and to define the needs and scope of B&B e-business planning. For empirical study, questionnaire survey was also conducted to gather opinions of B&B operators so as to strengthen the objectivity of the study, and the prototyping method in system analysis was used to design a prototype system for B&B e-business. Finally, conclusions were reached and suggestions were brought up for B&B operators in Mount Ali and follow-up researchers to refer to. With literature review, data compilation and organization, secondary data analysis, questionnaire survey, and prototype design and system evaluation, the study has four conclusions: 1. The development of B&Bs may proceeds in view of community development and the planning of business districts; 2. Industries should adopt strategic alliance strategy and information technology to enhance competitiveness; 3. The B&Bs in case studies should improve their operational know-how and capabilities to improve themselves; 4. The design of a prototype system advances the objectivity and practicability of the planning. These points will be helpful for B&B operators and those who conduct follow-up studies.
