Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 日本語文學系 === 91 === The Work Sarashina Nikki describes that the heroine has great passion for the Narratives but she also repents for this. To Narratives, she has extremely complicated mood through out her life. The thesis will study from three aspects to discuss the relationship between Women and the Narratives: (I) how women in the Heian Era enjoyed the Narratives; (II) about the Work - female image versus Narratives in Sarashina Nikki; (III) about the author — author’s image of the Work.In the first chapter, the thesis explores, in the Heian Era, how women enjoyed the Narratives, especially through the politics atmosphere, social rank and the cultural environment at that time. Later in this chapter, it introduces the sort and the purpose of the Narrative, and also introduce the viewpoint on the Narratives of the female writers. In the second chapter, the thesis deciphers the text by discussing the relationship between the female image and the Narratives, from the heroine’s girlhood, middle age and old age. In the three stages, the thesis describes what kind of desire and duty in the different female characters, and through the change from the view of desire and awakening and revolution to discuss the importance between the heroine and the Narratives. In the last chapter, from the outside view, the thesis discusses the relationship between the author and the Work. This article is like a mirror to reflect the life style of the other heroine. By looking the heroine to look back the relationship between the Narriatvies and the author; and trying to find out the opinion of the author on travel and love by looking into the characters and occasion of some specific paragraphs of the Work.
