For example, it has a low resolution, long measuring time, and low detectivity for very weak source etc. Hence scientist developed an interferometric technique to separate the spectral elements for solving these problems. This paper investigates the principle of dispersing the spectral elements by a using modified Michelson interferometer. This interferometric spectrometer has some features which are invaluable for traditional spectrometer. It possesses a multiplex property that can reduce enormously the time required to separate the spectral elements and a modulation function that can make randomly incident information into an analytic one. It can cause a detector strongly accept the weak interference signal, and simultaneously promote the resolution of the spectrum. We just make use of these properties to separate the spectral elements. The paper will further verify the experimental interference pattern which is formed from enormously random frequencies of incident light in terms of theoretical analysis and computer simulation. none 張晴生 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 87 zh-TW
