碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 材料與製造工程所 === 91 === ABSTRACT The cast iron sidewalk manhole cover （ex. telecommunication 、 electric power 、city water 、sewer 、etc.）for cityscape landscaping is adopted as the target in this research. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of environment condition on the coating property and the rolling resistant life of the cast iron manhole cover with color treatment coating. Moreover ，the coating property at different coating condition is also analyzed. In order to simulate the true condition ，a rolling test machine has been designed and manufactured. The specimen with two kinds of coating materials and surface conditions were adopted for the coating property tests which were according to the CNS standards. Experimental results show that （1 ）About the specimen materials ： The coating property of flake graphite cast iron.（FC 250 ）is better than that of spheroidal graphite cast iron.（FCD 450 ）（2 ）About surface condition of specimen ：For the polyurethane coated specimen ，whether after milling machined or shot blast ，the coating property has no obvious difference. However ，for the epoxy tar resin coating specimen ，the coating property with milling machined surface is better than that with shot blast surface.（3 ）About the coating materials ：The coating property （ex. rolling 、thermal shock 、 oil 、water resistance 、adhesive property etc.）of polyurethane coating is mush better than that of epoxy tar resin coating.
