There are three kinds of the washout methodologies presented that solves some problems of the current papers. We want to design a tracking model of the sustained acceleration part such that the optimal washout filter possesses tracking capability in the coordinated mode for the motion-cueing simulation. It can efficiently limit the translational motion of the platform, and also consider the significant effect of the steady-state signal at low frequency which simulates the sustained accelerations. The simulation result demonstrates that we can minimize the difference in the physiological outputs of the vestibular organs of the actual system and simulator platform system. And we have got a high fidelity motion cueing which shows that the sensing error values of otolith and semicircular canal can be suppressed below one threshold unit. For the high maneuvering input signal, we design an auto-tuning washout filter using fuzzy rule. It’s based on the frequency of the input dynamic signal to tune automatically the cut-off frequency of the washout filter. The displacement of the simulator is flexibly controlled within the work space of the simulator by the tuning methodology of the method. In addition, we probe into the fidelity of the motion cue and try to overcome the contradictory problems in the motion-cueing territory. Therefore, this research not only has achieved the purpose of the motion cue by designing three kinds of the washout filters, but also accomplished preliminarily the analysis of the fidelity of the motion cue.
