碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 工業工程學所 === 91 === Information Technology (IT) investment has become an imperative activity for e-Business enterprises to seek comparative advantage, but the IT investment is always faced to highly risk. Due to the lack of effective evaluation tools, managers are mostly unable to evaluate IT strategic value and to manage its ongoing investment. Therefore, managers need a reliable model to manage IT investment effectively. Recently, real options theory is widely used for R&D investment because it catches the value of the future opportunity. In order to take proper actions, e-Business managers must frequently consider the strategic effects of every investment stages and review the project performance with related value variation. This research is to develop a dynamic management model for managing IT investment for constructing e-Business framework. The proposed model integrates risk assessment with strategic-impact analysis and then provides a fundamental solution for proper actions on the ongoing investment plan. So, IT investment plans can achieve the expected performance of IT strategy as well as the improvement of customer satisfaction simultaneously.
