碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計研究所 === 91 === Females are more outstanding at each area in 21 century. Such a thing extends women’s social contact. It is gradually visualized on public space of women. Based on being self-sense as a woman and concerning women’s space, this study would focus on space for pre-deliverty room that is very important in women’s life. Women were our subjects. We understood the situation of space utilization during pre-deliverty room and feelings by “Environmental Behavior,E-B” theory. After understanding the expect and needs to space of pre-deliverty, we would suggest the appropriate space of pre-deliverty room matched primipara’s need. Results were as followings: I. Conclusions:(1)Primipara had polarizing feelings about different space styles of pre-deliverty room.(2)“Lacking space for parous accompany” was the first concerned question by primipara and “lacking intimate space” was the second. II. Suggestions:(1)Use adjustable baffles as space division or actual baffle around space to increase intimate and prevent interfere from others.(2)Increasing space for parous accompany would cause women’s better feelings to space of birth pang. We hoped this study would let people more visualize space of women and design more appropriate space for women. Our results would apply to space designers as reference.
