Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 機械工程學系碩士班 === 91 === The purpose of this study is to build a heat exchanger auxiliary system through distributed framework. Distributed framework integrates databases, which are scattered everywhere, by network. Databases concentrate on data manipulation only, while AP Server does the calculation. And therefore the setup of distributed framework will increase the performance. Meanwhile, the isolated User Interface can downgrade the hardware requirement of frontend facilities. It will provide a user-friendly environment and tremendously minimizes the user’s effort. The practical application in this study is to calculate the size and tubes that were needed in shell and tube heat exchanger design. There are two main kinds of flow in shell side. One is counter flow; the other is cross flow. The counter flow solutions show acceptable results compared with experimental and real design. The counter flow algorithm itself proves, and therefore can simplify the heat exchanger design process.
