During the past, most of construction simulation systems are developed to be focus on the analysis of system performance. However, one of the most important aspects of construction simulation that is less paid attention to is the operation of system configuration. Optimizing system configuration includes the design of operation flow and allocation of resources. This research uses genetic algorithms for facilitating the system configuration optimization in construction simulation. In addition, computer programs are developed for easy use of the proposal algorithms. The computer program developed under the structure of cost simulation system which was named Cost-Sharing. Case study identifies the effect of the developed program.
