Also an interactive VR system for unicompartmental knee replacement surgical training system is developed. The Stewart Platform system includes the Host PC and the Target PC. The Host PC is for animation of Stewart Platform, and the Target PC is for data retrieval of the Stewart Platform. The unicompartmental knee replacement training system is design of 3 DOF in position and orientation as well as 3 DOF force measure by use of piezoelectric ceramics with the physical characteristics of the operating force and position, and it connects with the joystick through the communication interface to obtain real-time data to appear the simulation effect. EON software is used to establish the virtual Stewart Platform type of CNC machine and the unicompartmental knee replacement surgical training system.
