This thesis proposes an easy way we offer to achieve the shunt voltage regulator module current sharing control. The circuit experiments are given to confirm the performance of our work. Firstly, without using traditional current transformer, current sensing resistor, we adapt the series of resistor and capacitor for current sensing network to get the current values of the two shunt voltage regulator modules. Then, we use the different value of the two currents, named as the error value. At last, the error value is feed backed to the pulse width modulation circuit to regulator the output voltage to approach the dished value. In the mean theme, the currents flowing in the two voltage regulator modules are controlled to be as equal as possible.
The chief results of our work are as follows: (1) without using the current transformer, so the shunt voltage regulator size can be reduce and without using current sensing resistor for current sensing network, then reduce the power disappear therefore promote the power efficiency. (2) Using an easy circuit theory and generation components to structure the control circuit easy to understand the control circuit working. (3) The way to suit an integrated circuit in an IC chip convenient the future application.
