碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 91 === In order to completely explain the technology of Home Network, in this thesis we focus on analyzing the technology of Home Network and testing related products. Then, base on the features in different technologies to map out a scheme as a reference to construct a Home Network. This thesis proposes an overall analysis on backbone broadband and client-end interconnection over all kinds of “Home Networking” environments. This thesis also shows application fields and functionality characteristics of various “Home Networking” technologies, and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of various “Home Networking” technologies from different views. Although there is still kind of difference between the theoretical and practical functionalities because of the real environmental effect, this thesis looks into the factors of the environmental effect and studies the detailed solution to some Internet device’s deployment, configuration, and operation. At last, the analysis in this thesis makes simulation for “Home Networking” deployment in local building and apartment. The simulation can optimize the solution to “Home Networking” deployment according to the characteristics and demands of various Internet Appliances.
