Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 91 === Abstract Technology is the necessary motivation of economic growth; technology innovation is the decisive and valuable operations of any economy to upgrade and enhance competitiveness & continuous economic growth. Biotechnology industry is emerging and still in the early stages of development but will be highly booming & competitive in the future, especially in the light of the predictive trend towards globalization & continuous industrial upgrading. In order to provide traditional industries preparing to transform themselves into biotechnology industry with a preview & the original biotechnology industries to have easier reference and to achieve the objectives of better future development, the research concentrates to discuss technological factors; “technology characteristic”, ‘technology acquisition”, technology capability’, “technology innovation performance’, of the performance of innovation for biotechnology industry. After reviewing the related literature and building the conceptual framework, the researcher analyzes and integrates the results of eight case studies, examines the conceptual framework, and concludes with the main propositions as below: Proposition 1: Technology characteristic affects its form of technology acquisition. Proposition 2: Technology acquisition affects its technology innovation performance. Proposition 3: Technology acquisition affects its technology capability. Proposition 4: Technology capability affects its technology innovation performance.
