Summary: | 碩士 === 中原大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 91 === Heat capacities of pure Piperazine(PZ) and aqueous mixtures of PZ with 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol(AMP) and PZ with N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) were measured from 30 to 80℃ with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). An excess molar heat capacity expression, using the Redlich-Kister expansion for the composition dependence, is used to represent the measured CP of PZ / AMP and PZ / MDEA aqueous solutions. The results of heat capacity calculation (overall average absolute percentage deviations) for a total of 132 data points are 2.8% and 0.2% for excess molar heat capacity and molar heat capacity for binary systems. The ternary system for calculation of excess molar heat capacity and molar heat capacity are 4.8% and 0.2% for a total of 319 data points. The heat capacities values of aqueous mixtures of PZ with AMP and PZ with MDEA in this study are, in general, of sufficient accuracy for most engineering-design calculations.
