We have constructed a high resolution subdividing electronics module to the sinusoidal encoder output of positioning motor. This module can be used as a counter for linear and angular measurements. It can subdivides the periods of the sinusoidal encoder signals up to 1600 times. The whole module is ideal for applications requiring high resolution encoder and fast data acquisition with phase tolerance.
