However, to cope with the high production speed as well as to satisfy the demand for on-line real time inspection, more and more machine vision systems use line-scan cameras instead. To be familiar with the line-scan technique as quickly as possible, a line-scan based machine vision system has been established. The system is used to simulate the on-line real time inspection of an assembly line. Moreover, in order to fully understand the functionality of the system, we need to design a conveyor line, choose a suitable stepping motor, encoder, line-scan CCD, image grabber, line-type light source, develop a software program, integrate software and hardware by ourselves. To verify the feasibility of the developed system, the system is applied to inspect printed circuit boards that are driven to be moved with a conveyor line at a constant velocity. Experimental results show that the system is capable of capturing images correctly and measuring dimensions of PCBs. In the thesis, the development and configurations of the prototype of the system are described in detail. In additions, parameter setting of a line-scan CCD, the trigger control of image grabber, the pulse transmission of encoder, and the cabling among the mentioned components are explored in great depth. 邱奕契 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW |
