Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 土木工程學系碩士班 === 91 === Water is the important resource of agricultural activities. Large amount of hydraulic facilities and distribution canals are accumulated in the past several hundred years. Meantime, the irrigation water quality had been polluted by industrial and domestic sewage. The deteriorated phenomenon had been not decreased under extending the protection of irrigation water for over 35years in Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to analyze and investigate the separation of agricultural irrigation water from rainfall and sewage. Taking the Long-En canal in Hsin-Chu Irrigation Association Area as an example, the results indicated that the planned width of irrigation and drainage were 0.95-2.2m and 3.5-13m, respectively, which can meet the irrigation requirement and solve the damage caused by the storm. The accounted ratio of benefit and cost was 1.09. Accordingly, the planned canal separation was feasible and the quality of irrigation water could be improved.
