| Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 91 === Nowadays, Internet, multimedia, databases and other information technologies have become very popular. The Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) programs used in education field are also common. However, most CAL programs are not designed for children with autism. In this thesis, we present the construction of a Web-based learning system for children with autism and discuss the experiment in mathematics education. The learning system consists of different types of sub-systems, including Tutorial systems for teaching materials, Drill and Practice systems for exercises and simulation-based systems (in a Multimedia Virtual Park, MVP). In order to improving the accessibility of the system, the system is experimented in Child Psychiatry Department of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Finally, the experimental results, including Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), are discussed.
