The fly ashes applied to the soil is one way that can make the waste recycle ,make the fly ash have economic values.However,for the reason of environmental protection,it is necessary to make sure the fly ash is toxicless by means of TCLP procedure that can achieve this goal. CaO(Calcium oxide) is one important component of fly ash.It will react with water to dissolve calcium ion and hydroxyl group.The more fly ashes are added into the soil,the more pH value of the soil increase.When the pH value is close to a certain number and stop changing,it means the quantity of the fly ash added into the soil has reached its maxium. When the fly ash are added into and blend with the soil the following reactions will happen :one reaction is water evaporation , another is cation exchange and crowd,the other is effect of pozzolanic , that makes the clay minerals become calcium aluminate or calcium silicate.Combining these reactions,it changes the soil quality and increase the strength incruding shear and compress stress,besides,it also prompt the ability of solidify of the soil. 陳志平 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
