In the recently year, the rapid growth of computer and robotic technology, the application of robot are not limited to industrial automation. The robotic systems have been successfully applied in factory automation, dangerous environments, surgery, entertainment, space exploration, farmland, military, service, etc. The pet robot is much important role in entertainment robot. There are many scholarly researches and companies’ investment the entertainment robot in the past ten year. The objective of this thesis in to construct a intelligent pet robot named “LUOPET-Ⅱ”. The LUOPET-Ⅱ has one head, a body, and four legs. The size of the LUOPET-Ⅱ is 260mm 210mm 180mm. The driving devices of the LUOPET-Ⅰuse ten GWS servo motors and control the LUOPET-Ⅱ to move forward, backward, stand up, and sit down. We use several types of sensors embedded in LUOPET-Ⅰand multilevel multisensor integrated algorithm to obtain an adequate decision output and control the behavior of the robot to interact with human.
