碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 91 === The original goal of Bluetooth technology is a wireless personal network with low cost and short distance transmission. It is expected to support wireless environment passing through all over the world and connect all information transmission services of the mobile devices. Therefore, regardless of mobile phone, radiophone, PDA, notebook, printer, LAN and so on, they can communicate with each other using Bluetooth technique. Thus, it is predictable that Bluetooth technology will blend into human’s life. In this thesis the Bluetooth File Transfer Profile is implemented. The Bluetooth File Transfer Profile(FTP) provides a data transmission made by the Bluetooth wireless communication technology in order to replace IrDA transmission. It also provides the characteristic of the wireless personal ad-hoc network. When the Bluetooth Module is plugged into the PC, both devices with File Transfer Profile serving as Server or Client separately reach file transfer functions using PUSH or PULL concepts.
