Their customers are pursuing low cost, high quality, and quick supplement responds. For this reason enterprise resource planning (ERP) system emerges. The ERP system is capable of just-in-time manufacturing, global business processes, take data integration across the enterprise, and the client/server-based IT infrastructure is more and scalable that mainframe. Various figures have stated that ERP systems have became the one of the largest IT investment in recently years. The implementation of ERP system, however, is not an easy task. Previous research report ERP projects an unusually high failure, sometime jeopardize the core operation of the implementing organization. The most famous case is FoxMeyer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Further, ERP systems appear to present unique ongoing risks due to its uniqueness. In this study, we used a Delphi method to identify potential ERP projects risk factors, and then we constructed an AHP-based framework to analysis and prioritized the ERP propjets risk factors.
