ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to probe into the theory model of the program planning of adult education and to realize the practice and the application of the community foundation of culture and education. Then we propose the practical model of the activity curriculum programming for reference for the program planners of the relevant institutions. To reach the above purpose, in this study, we collect and analyze relevant literature in our country and abroad as the theory probe and the theory basis. We take the results of the literature analysis as the basis of the interview and the questionnaire, then we proceed with semistructured interview and questionnaire to the executors of the three community foundation of culture and education in Chia-Yi County. After the generalization of this study, the following conclusions can be drawn:
1. It is worth probing into the feature of the practical program planning by the community foundation of culture and education.
2. There is a practical value of the program planning process by the community foundation of culture and education.
3. The direction of the program planning is based on the vision of the community foundation of culture and education.
4. The contents of the program planning by the community foundation of culture and education is provided with community feature.
According to the conclusions of this study, the following suggestions can be drawn:
1. About the program planning of the community foundation of culture and education
(1)It is necessary to analyze the political society environment to know well the society trend and to analyze the community character to realize the community feature.
(2)The market segmentation should be done according to the results of the situational analysis or needs assessment of the former item.
(3)The planners should evaluate the needs in many ways and make a list of needs assessment in order, then the learning activity program planning can be designed according to the needs assessment.
(4)The learning activity design should be carried out according to the situation analysis, market segmentation and needs assessment to make sure the direction and feature of the learning activity design.
(5)For the marketing strategy, the place strategy , staff strategy and price strategy have to be considered.
(6)It is important for the community foundation of culture and education to enhance the formative evaluation.
2.About the program planning model
(1)The program evaluation has to be added to the program planning process and the internal and external situation analysis has to be included in the program planning.
(2)”The practical program planning model of the community foundation of culture and education” may serve as reference for other community foundation .
3.It is necessary for the community foundation of culture and education to set their vision of the program planning.
4. The community foundation can develop their community feature and design the contents of the program planning based on the community feature.
5.To the executors of the program planning
(1)The practical experience of the program planning has to be passed on.
(2)The relevant theories of the program planning have to be promoted.
6. For further study
(1)A different type of the community foundation can be studied.
(2)The program evaluation needs to be further studied, then the practical and feasible program evaluation model can be proposed.
(3)”The practical program planning model of the community foundation” can be carried out into effect, then the results of this model can be inspected.
