Therefore, knowledge management has become one of the important issues in both industry and academic areas. Because of the prevalence of KM activities within organizations, hospitals should clarify the possible problems encountered during KM implementation efficaciously solve dilemmas and fully facilitate KM activities. As a whole, the healthcare industry possess the supreme amounts of intellectual elite, whose knowledge is not second to high technological industries. However, the administration of hospitals is still in the phase of enlightenment. Especially, the model of knowledge management is the issue that arouses more concerns. If a hospital want to gain the competition superiority in such a fierce competitive environment, the first thing is to think about how to develop the management action that benefits to the developing process. So, how to improve organization achievements the process of knowledge management through collection and management actions of knowledge is a very important task at present. The purpose of this study aims to investigate the management situation for regional hospitals, to delineate the linkage between theory and practice, identify working mechanisms, and thereby to establish an implementing model of knowledge management for conducting regional hospitals activities driven by KM theories.
