Especially the internet is so popular nowadays, the impact becomes greater and deeper. In the past, the communication between enterprise, customer and supplier is constricted and time-consuming. But here comes the best solution─Enterprise Information Portal（EIP）！It links the integrated application systems and enterprise resources via a single front entrance to efficiently help end-user enhance their working performance, and promote the share of knowledge. At the same time, it also enhances the operation efficiency and the power of an enterprise to deal with challenge.
The research was studied to find out the relationships among adoption factors, implementation strategies, application functions and performance of EIP. We wish that the result of this research can be considered like a reference that helps the enterprise when they are estimating or building their EIP. The survey is done by sending questionnaires via mail with total number of 1600, with 201 retuned. The return rate is 12.56%.
The result shows that factors of enterprise organizational phase influenced the decision whether the company would implement EIP or not. The most important applications are personalization、content management、workflow and collaboration. The most effective benefits of implement EIP are enhancement of customer service、correctness of information、customer satisfaction、competition advantage and marketing advantage. The relationships among adopt factors、implement strategies、application function and performance are positive related.
