There are five parties in our scheme: Consumer, Bank, Merchant, Issuer and Trusted Authority. To produce the legitimate coins, it needs the cooperation between Bank and Issuer. By this way, it prevents not only Bank from impersonating a consumer to withdraw coins but also Issuer from producing coins at will. Issuer makes use of a hash function to produce coins that the verification of legitimate coins can be done quickly in a transaction. Besides, we propose an ERSA algorithm to assure that only Consumer can spend coins but can not expand the extra coins from the withdrawal ones. In summary, our scheme has the following properties: (1) Unforgeability and Unexpandability of coins. (2) Efficiency of legitimate coins verification. (3) No-usurpation of coins.
