Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 社區護理研究所 === 90 === The purpose of this study is to analyze the social support and self-efficacy for the compliance of tuberculosis in Taipei city by the methods of cross-sectional study. This research was conducted in the tuberculosis of Taipei hospital finding case throught regisiter in the center disease of control that treatment tuberculosis during the period from April 2002 to May 2002. Subjects of this study consisted of 80-tuberculosis cases. The structured questionnaires were modified from social support and self-efficacy scale (1996 Zhao and 1998 Chen). The participants of tuberculosis are men most. The mean age is 59.52 and the education is elementary school or junior high school, no occupation and married. All of cases living with their families and didn’t have tuberculosis history. The social support which from family more than friends or doctor-nurse. The functional socials support which from emotional support more than other. The lowest support is tangible support. The highest level of self-efficacy is “either any difficulty you can keep appointment ask for doctor” and the lowest is “can you still keep appointment when you feeling any uncomfortable due to side effect”. The compliance of tuberculosis is 80%, the self-efficacy for compliance has significance correlated and social support has not. Suggest that self-efficacy impact to compliance. The correlation of social support and self-efficacy is positive correlation and also the family support is positive correlation with self-efficacy. The subjective from the analysis of structured questionnaires as below: 1.Through professional skills to enhance social support for tuberculosis cases. 2. Increase medical care of the information support. 3. Enhance the education about tuberculosis and chronic disease information and self care skills in the care strategy. 4. Increase caring and support and encourage enhancing self-efficacy. 5. Active to find the side effect during treatment and refer to other medical treatment for decrease the noncompliance from side effect. 6.development support group for tuberculosis care to enhance social support.
