This thesis presents a new structure to realize a dual band omni-directional antenna. First, the omni-directional resonant mode of circular patch antenna and ring antenna are found by theoretical calculation. Next, by a simulation program, IE3D, the accuracy of calculated data are checked. Moreover, the resonant frequency is tuned to the desired frequency. Then, the antenna is realized by the printed-circuit board process. The circular antenna and ring antenna are put together concentrically and combined to be fed by a power divider. The patterns of lower band (2.4GHz) and higher band (5.8GHz) measured in an anechoic chamber are quite to meet to omni-directional requirement. Chi-Fang Huang 黃啟芳 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 54 zh-TW
