The goal of this research can be divided into four aspects: first, to investigate if there are any changes for third-graders in life adjustment and if gender contributes to these changes after having incorporating art education with therapeutic approach for one semester; second, to probe how ill-adjusted third-graders are influenced by receiving art education with therapeutic approach for one semester; third, to examine how the researcher who conducts this research learns and changes during the whole process; and fourth, to make specific suggestions as references for art educators. The quasi-experimental design was used in this research to study third-graders in six classes at Nei-hu Elementary School, among which three classes the researcher taught serve as an experimental group and the rest three another art teacher taught serve as a control group. In contrast to the experimental group receiving art education with therapeutic approach for one semester, the control group received general art education. The Measurement of Behavioral Disturbances(MBD), taken in this study as an evaluation tool, was respectively done before and after performing the art education with therapeutic approach. The results of the measurement were put into statistic analysis through “ANCOVA.” The researcher also created several questionnaires to get responses from students, parents, and students’ advisors, and used course descriptions, records of in-class observation, teaching journals, video recording, photo taking to help interpret the data and results. The following were the conclusions from this research. 1. The third-graders showed apparent improvements in such respects as school life, family life, and life adjustment in general after receiving art education with therapeutic approach. 2. There were no conspicuous differences in terms of self-centered concerns and personal relationship for the third-graders who received art education with therapeutic approach. 3. Among the third-graders, the girls were significant superior to the boys in terms of family life in the experimental group. 4. In the physical and psychological development, the girls were significant superior to the boys in the control group, but there were no conspicuous differences between boys and girls in the experimental group. 5. The art education with therapeutic approach had a positive influence upon students of the experimental group for learning in art classes. 6. There were evident improvements in such respects of self- centered concerns, physical and psychological development, personal relationship, family life, and life adjustment in general for the ill-adjusted third-graders after they received art education with therapeutic approach. 7. For the ill-adjusted third-graders, the general art education influenced them in a positive way in self- centered concerns, physical and psychological development, family life, and life adjustment in general, but in a retrogressive way in school life and personal relationship. 8. This study helped the researcher to integrate theories and practice, so the researcher would understand how students learn and would be able to enhance his efficacy of teaching in the future. The above conclusions from this research are also the researcher''s suggestions to teachers, school administration departments, the education authorities, and further studies. 陸雅青 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 172 zh-TW |

碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 視覺藝術研究所 === 90 === The purpose of this thesis is to study the effects of art education with therapeutic approach upon third-graders at the elementary school level in terms of their life adjustment.
