Through an exploration of the geographical and cultural environments, a study of the organizational activities within the school district, and a realistic understanding of the interaction of school and social organizations and local politics, we will be able to comprehend the influence of school and social organizational activities on the development of local politics. First, through a review of related literature and structured interview, the study collects information and analyzes the geographical and cultural environments of Chengkung Elementary School in order to understand the status of the school’s geographical environment and the unique characteristics of the school’s cultural environments. Next, the study explores the status of the socio-organizational activities within the school district and its interaction with the local politicians as well as analyzing the interaction and influence these social organizations have on local politics. Then a questionnaire was drawn up based on the serious opposition between the organizations triggered by debates over the environment within the school district. The questionnaire is used on the organization that is more deeply affected by the environment of the school district, and , using concrete evidence to analyze the various viewpoints and feasible solutions put forth by the organizations on environmental problems. The results of this analysis may serve as the reference for policy making at local government level or as a basis for addressing similar issues. The conclusions of the study are as follows: I. Current trends indicate that the interaction of formal and informal organizations is becoming deeper. II. When conflicts of interest arise between formal and informal organizations, the party with a larger advantage usually wins more sympathy. III. Majority of the political figures in the school district did not inherit their political seats. IV. Activities involving school district organizations are the future trends in researching local political developments. V. The boundaries of each field needs to be redrawn. VI. To eradicate flying voters, the household registry law has to be revised, regulating the maximum number of people in a household. VII. When the government draw up public policy, it is imperative to do so in the principle of fair play, adopting an attitude of impartiality and an “open” policy. VIII. When faced with social organizational conflicts, the rights of the majority should be always be the priority. IX. During the decision making process, government should think everything through clearly to avoid too many fallouts resulting from the decision made. X. The decisions made by government should be linked and should be made based on the greatest benefits of the public.
