Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊與圖書館學系 === 90 === The theme of this study is Basic Information Education, with Instruction Experiment Method, Internet Questionnaire Method, and Internet Traffic Analysis, while junior high students are the major research objects. The study has four main points: (1) investigating junior high students general internet literacy, (2) discussing related internet teaching problems in current junior high computer classes, (3) combining library user education with junior high internet courses, (4) according to Nine-Year Coherence Curriculum, proposing a set of well-designed internet teaching plans for junior high computer classes.
The chief research method is Experimental Research. Before the experiment, students had to complete the questionnaire of “General Internet Information Literacy Investigation,” taking the advantages of on-line questionnaire to learn students’ internet recognition and behavior models. Besides, the campus website and teaching experiment website were set up beforehand for the purpose of observing students’ practical internet behavior by utilizing the transaction log and internet flow rate statistics. After fully being understood their internet literacy and behavior models, they were divided into control group and experiment group, tested respectively by self-written teaching materials and internet teaching experiments for eight to nine weeks. Soon after it finished, by double examination methods of after-class homework and questionnaire, I analyze their changing situation in every aspect, including their internet recognition, preference, anxiety, application and information seeking.
In order to discuss how to elevate students’ internet literacy, the study emphasizes especially on the design and evaluation research perspective. There are several conclusions: (1) It exists great difference between experimental and general internet courses in internet recognition, affection and skills. (2) Both experimental and general internet courses can promote students’ internet literacy. (3) Experimental ones have better effect in promoting. (4) To apply library internet resources helps students improve their information seeking ability. (5) Experimental internet courses are entirely fitted for the ability grade’s competence indexes of Nine —Year Coherence Curriculum.
The study accomplishes several concrete aims, including (1) understanding common junior high students’ internet information literacy, (2) understanding their preference and behavior, (3) establishing a set of internet teaching courses designed especially for junior high computer class.
