| Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 90 === As the techniques and tools of wireless communication become popular, the infrastructure of mobile commerce has become more mature. In the trend toward wireless communication, a portable mobile device plays an essential roll. Among all kinds of the terminal devices, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) is the most suitable one for mobile commerce. However, the research of how to transport data efficiently and present existing web content as a suitable form for a PDA is the main theme of our research.
A framework is proposed in this thesis which puts emphasis on the features and functions of communicating PDA. By implementing web clipping technology, users can browse the web they need by a communicating PDA and get the response presented in adequate forms for reading by PDA. Moreover, the architecture can be further applied to mobile commerce in business.
