| Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 90 === In this paper, we explore how various environmental changes in the society, i.e. new technique development, Web fever retreat, economy seasonal fluctuation, peak job changes, and any unexpected catastrophe, would affect the IS personnel''s job categories, job skills and course trainings. A survey sheet including the above stated theme variables was devised by adopting the framework of some related foreign articles and by analyzing 986 samples of recruiting advertisements in five different IS job categories out of seven dissimilar time segments from the three major local newspapers-Union, China, and Freedom.
The research results indicated that four social environmental changes caused significant differences for the IS personnel''s job categories and job skills. Taking the economy seasonal fluctuation as an example, the IS personnel''s job categories and job skills were greatly affected by these changes. Obviously,the IS personnel must promptly look at and update the related techniques to cope with the environmental changes. In case, they should become weak minorities in the job opportunities or in the information techniques. Besides, the association for the connotation of job skills of IS Personnel’s with the demands of job categories appears notable discrepancy; and the correlation between the variation of job skills of the IS personnel''s and the adjusting of training courses is conspicuous.
